Rubber Wedge Booties
I was at an H&M today when I saw this pair of shoes. Wedge booties with a rubber heel, on sale for $10. What a steal! Im not sure what the upper is made out of, but it seems like it would repel water easily. I was excited about wearing them on a rainy day instead of the usual rain boots, which I can never walk in without looking awkward.
It wasn't raining when I drove to the mall, but it was POURING as I was leaving. First rain of the season where I live. Not only did I get a good deal on some shoes, but it was perfect timing. I wore my new shoes out, and my feet didn't get wet :)
Find any good deals lately?

Happy Shopping
Did a little retail therapy. Everything on clearance, so I am ecstatic!

My favorite purchase of the day. Brown sandals, on clearance for $9.99 at Kohls. They are so comfortable too!

Heeled Hiker Boots?
Found these on clearance at Target a while back. It's just now starting to get cold enough where I live to wear boots. They almost look like something a lumberjack would wear... if lumberjacks wore heels. I find myself oddly attracted to them. It wasn't love at first sight, but for $8.74 I couldn't pass it up. I've never worn this kind of style before. Eh, it's a chance to play around with something new I guess!

People Watching
I had a bit of waiting to do so I decided to sit and watch people go by. I was sitting on a bench waiting for my boyfriend to pick me up because my car has been in the shop for a few weeks :( I took a few pictures to help pass the time.
The shoes I wore today are one of my favorites. I got them several years ago on clearance for only $5. I got them thinking "They won't last very long but they're only $5 so why the hell not?" Surprisingly they've held up quite well even with constant use, and they are SO comfy! I love when that happens! I also wore one of my new favorites: a thrifted oversized cotton/acrylic blend sweater that I purchased for $2. Good stuff.
Thrifted Oversized Gray Sweater ($2), Stretch Skinny Jeans ($10.80) from Forever 21, Wedges ($5) from Payless ShoeSource, Bag ($20?) from Forever 21

Omg Shoes
I love shoes, but I hate spending serious cash on them! I'm the type of girl that is happy if they look good on my feet no matter what it says on the label. I'm even happier if they were a bargain. I normally won't pay over $25 for a pair, but if I find good deals I don't mind buying multiple pairs. I like getting bang for my buck! "Cheap" shoes don't necessarily mean they are made poorly. I have $10 shoes that have lasted me years and that's with constant use. Here are some of the purchases I made in the past couple of months.
